Police responded to reports of an explosion in Werribee tonight (18 August).

Witnesses reported hearing a loud explosion in the vicinity of Kelvin Grove about 7.30pm.
Officers attended and located an improvised explosive device (IED) had detonated on the road.
No-one was injured during the incident and police located a further two IEDs nearby.
