Some residents have voiced concerns about it opening next to a playground that has only just recently become operational again, and have suggested that there were other more practical sites available.

Wyndham’s active cases have been declining steadily with 209 active cases listed on the 9th of September now reduced to only 144 as of yesterday (14th September). Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit and Truganina have experienced the most cases in Wyndham since the pandemic began.

The site will be open from Monday to Friday between noon and 7pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 5pm and the entrance is via the car park entrance on Baden Powell Drive.

Residents are being urged to get tested if they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, including fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose and loss or change in sense of smell or taste. Testing is free, just make sure you have some identification on you.
