A 15-year-old girl from Werribee has died following a crash in Hoppers Crossing on Saturday night.
Investigators believe an allegedly stolen Subaru Liberty veered off Old Geelong Road just after 6.30pm and rolled.
One of the occupants initially fled the scene but was arrested a short time later.
Two other occupants were arrested and the 15-year-old Werribee girl was taken to hospital where she later died.
A 16-year-old Werribee boy has been charged with culpable driving causing death.
With assistance from Hobsons Bay Crime Investigation Unit detectives, a 15-year-old girl from Tarneit was charged with theft of motor vehicle and theft.
Both were remanded to appear before a children’s court at a later date.
A 17-year-old Point Cook boy was charged with theft of motor vehicle and was bailed to appear before a children’s court at a later date.
