Police have arrested a man following a house fire in Tarneit today (6 May).
Emergency services were called to the Loma Court property just before 4.30pm.
The area from Sherlock Avenue to Danfield Drive was blocked off by police as many onlookers gathered in the street.
It is believed a male and female known to each other were involved in an altercation at the property before the house was engulfed in flames.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated. The female was taken to the Werribee Mercy Hospital and treated for minor injuries.
