Three males have been arrested after evading police in the Point Cook area last night.
Police were following a stolen vehicle about 9.20pm when two unmarked police vehicles were involved in a collision with a civilian vehicle at the intersection of Boardwalk and Dunnings Road.
The civilian was reported as mechanically trapped in the vehicle and after release was being assessed by Ambulance at the scene.
The stolen car was dumped in Reeves Street where three males were arrested nearby. An officer at the scene stated that two of the men had to be taken back to Ballarat and the third male was being conveyed to Bacchus Marsh first and that he had been pepper sprayed.
They are all currently assisting police with their enquiries.
