Police are investigating after a man was dropped at a Werribee hospital with stab wounds last night.
Investigators have been told a 38-year-old Werribee man was dropped off at the hospital about 10.40pm.
It is believed the victim was assaulted following an earlier altercation at a residence in Silvereye Crescent about 10.30pm.
Police are investigating whether the parties are known to each other.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
