VIDEO: Steaming Through Wyndham Tomorrow.

Steamrail Victoria is running their ‘Rail and Sail’ event tomorrow (2nd May) which departs from Southern Cross Station then journeying on to Geelong.

The special guest locomotive will be the R761, which is one of a few locomotives that date from 1889 to 1952, while the carriages range from as early as 1906. 

The train features beautiful timber work & pressed-tin ceilings, walk-through corridors, comfortable compartment-style seating, a licensed bar and kiosk, and toilets with washrooms.  

Catch a glimpse of this beautiful piece of history along the regional rail line that will journey through both Wyndham Vale Station and Tarneit Station, here are the approximate times:
