A woman was trapped in a vehicle after an accident on Bulban Road early this afternoon.
The woman in her 50’s was trapped for quite some time in the Hyundai Excel that she was driving before Ambulance arrived at the scene shortly after 3.30pm.
She was taken to the Alfred Hospital with suspected upper body injuries and her condition is not yet known.
A toolbox was flung from the white Nissan Navara as a result of the accident leaving debris strewn all over Bulban Road and some reaching as far as McGrath Road.
One lane on Bulban Road was closed and traffic was diverted.
