Electoral Commissioner Sven Bluemmel emphasised the importance of timely submissions, stating, “You need to post your completed ballot pack before 6 pm on Friday, 25 October, noting that local postal clearance times may vary.”

Alternatively, residents can hand-deliver their ballot packs to the election office at Warehouse 3, 5 Connect Road, Truganina, before the 6 pm deadline on the same day.

For those who have not received their ballot packs by Tuesday, 15 October, the VEC advises visiting their website at vec.vic.gov.au to complete an online replacement ballot pack form.

Extended office hours will be available for voters who wish to hand-deliver their ballots: from 9 am to 8 pm on Thursday, 24 October, and from 9 am to 6 pm on Friday, 25 October.

Voting is compulsory for anyone who was on the state or council electoral roll as of 4 pm on Wednesday, 7 August. Failure to vote may result in a fine.
