Police allege Lego stolen in armed robbery

Police allege the pair entered the Evans Street shopping centre store around 4.30pm on 7 August, armed with a weapon, and stole items including Lego valued at about $1,000.
A female staff member confronted the pair as they were leaving, when one allegedly threatened her. She was not physically injured and attempted to follow them through the shopping centre and car park.
Detectives executed two search warrants at properties in Werribee yesterday, snapping the final pieces of the case into place with two arrests.
A 35-year-old Werribee man and a 34-year-old Werribee man have been charged with armed robbery, theft from shop, assault, and bail offences.
Both men are expected to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
