The fire, which broke out around 11:00 am, saw three occupants self-evacuate as the property filled with smoke. Witnesses reported seeing a male occupant leaving the unit before fire crews arrived, but he was not located at the scene.

Firefighters swiftly contained the blaze within 10 minutes of their arrival. Asbestos protocols were initiated by fire services as a precaution, and a smoke warning was issued for the surrounding area.

The nearby school resumed normal operations shortly after the fire was extinguished. No injuries have been reported, and investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
