The weather might be pretty cold in Melbourne today, but that hasn’t ruined the mood for three locals who are each celebrating their $1.4 million TattsLotto wins.
There were four division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 4169, drawn Saturday 3 July 2021— three of the division one winning entries landed in Melbourne.
Each division one winning entry took home $1,455,804.95.
When a Werribee woman discovered she won $1.45 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw, she screamed so loudly she woke up her husband, who came running down the stairs worried something was wrong.
“We had been out for dinner and when we came home, I remembered I had bought a ticket into the draw,” she explained when speaking with an official from The Lott this morning.
“My husband had gone to bed and I was just sitting on the couch so I checked my numbers on The Lott app.
“I couldn’t believe it when I saw I’d won division one!
“I screamed so loudly that my husband woke up and he came running down the stairs. He was so worried something was wrong, but I told him it was good news.
“Honestly, seeing that money come up on the screen was just amazing!
“We have always been fortunate, so this is just the icing on the cake.
“It’s really created such an awesome buzz, and I just can’t get over it.”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her million-dollar win, the happy woman thought of her family first.
“The main thing we will do is share it with our family,” she admitted.
“The rest we will use to enjoy our retirement and to enjoy life!”
Her winning 24-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Werribee Authorised Newsagency, 16 Station Street, Werribee.
