Get ready for the Winter Street Party in the Werribee City Centre on Friday, June 23, from 5pm to 9pm. This beloved street festival will bring wintry fun to Watton Street during the school holidays.
Prepare for an exciting program that includes fire shows, a pop-up roller-rink, snow play, live music, roving performers, a makers market, glow zone, and delicious winter dishes.
Last year’s event attracted a record-breaking 12,000 people, and this year promises to be even bigger and better. The Winter Street Party will create a lively carnival-like atmosphere throughout Watton Street, uniting local businesses, musicians, artists, sporting clubs, and community groups.
Join in the magic of the Winter Street Party and experience a new winter wonderland, light-themed activity zones, two live music stages, a neon DJ booth, silent disco, glow-in-the-dark face painting, and loads of fun for kids.
Local businesses will extend their offerings onto the street, providing delicious winter fare, alfresco dining areas, special retail promotions, and a Winter Market with over 30 stalls featuring local Wyndham makers.
The event will also showcase local talent and offer engaging activities for children in the Live and Local precinct, including performances, dance groups, sporting clubs, and community organizations.
Don’t miss the free pop-up roller rink located at 4 Watton St, near Troup Park. It will be open from 4pm on Friday, June 23, until 9pm on Sunday, June 25.
Bookings, available from Monday, June 5, are essential to secure your spot. Visit wyndham.vic.gov.au/winter to book. Please note that there will be rolling road closures and traffic management measures in place on Watton Street on Friday, June 23, to ensure a safe event.
The road will be fully closed from 12pm, allowing residents to enjoy the activities, pop-up businesses, and alfresco dining without any concerns.
Come hungry and explore Werribee’s own ‘Eat Street,’ offering a variety of delicious options such as steaming-hot samosas, marshmallow-toasting, hot chocolates, and family-friendly dine-in experiences.
