
A 35–year–old woman from Burnside has been charged by detectives of the Major Collision Investigation Unit after a fatal car crash in Ravenhall on the 9th of March.
It is said that a Holden utility crashed on Westwood Drive at about 9.20 pm. The 26-year-old female passenger from Tarneit was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver was taken to hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
She has been charged for culpable driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death and reckless conduct endangering life.
Additionally, a penalty notice of an immediate driving ban has been given to her, and she will be present in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
