VIDEO: WUFC Players to Visit Two Wyndham Schools Ahead of Finals.

Western United will play a home final in Melbourne with Green and Black fans in the stands for the first time this weekend.

United will face Wellington Phoenix in the Elimination Final at AAMI Park on Saturday May 14th with a 7.45pm kick-off.

Achieving a record-breaking home and away season in 2021/22, Western United has been defying doubters and dreaming big on and off the pitch to reach its highest-ever finish on the ladder.

As part of the celebration, academy players Sabit James and Zac Kocankovski will be visiting both Tarneit Rise Primary School and Point Cook P-9 to hand out WUFC Finals T-shirts tomorrow.

The third-place finish was gained on the back of club-record totals in points and wins across the campaign due to some big performances from a number of United’s star players.

Western United is overjoyed to share in the glory of Finals football with its supporters for the first time.

Tickets for Saturday’s game went on sale on Wednesday at 3pm for Western United members, and are now also on sale for the general public.

Wyndham residents are being urged by WUFC to “Grab your family and friends, come in full voice and show your support for the Green and Black – because in finals, we Go Harder.”
