Applications for exhibitors are now open. Those interested can visit [www.wyndhambrickfest.com.au] and follow the link to the entry form. The event boasts a variety of categories, encouraging participation from enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Whether building a dragon, constructing a spaceship, creating a family mosaic, or developing a working Lego™ robot, participants are invited to let their imaginations run wild.

“As a community-based group, we are so pleased to bring this weekend of fun to Wyndham. The joy children and adults get out of seeing the displays, playing in our brick pit, or seeing a Lego™ kit they haven’t seen in years makes all the work we do worthwhile,” said Andrew Elsbury, President of Wyndham Brickfest.

With school holidays in full swing across the state, this is the perfect time for Lego™ enthusiasts to embark on a major building project to showcase at Wyndham Brickfest during the first weekend of the mid-year holidays.

Since its inception in 2019, and with a hiatus in 2020, Wyndham Brickfest has donated $11,000 to children’s health initiatives, including the paediatric ward at Werribee Mercy Hospital and a Smiley Scope for the ward last year. “The whole event is planned and staffed by volunteers with 100% of funds from ticket sales donated. Our sponsors ensure a great prize pool for those entering the exhibitor competitions,” Elsbury added.

Exhibitors can enter the following categories:
– 12 and under (Max 48 x 48 stud baseplate)
– 17 and under (Max 48 x 48 stud baseplate)
– Adult/Open (Max 48 x 48 stud baseplate)
– All Ages Large Display (Max 1 table 60cm x 120cm)
– All Ages X-Large Display (Any build larger than 1 table)

Entries are eligible for the People’s Choice award, determined by attendee votes, and the Committee’s Choice award, decided by a vote from committee members.

The event promises a fun-filled weekend with games, build challenges, train displays, Lego™ sales, new building techniques, and the opportunity to connect with fellow Lego™ enthusiasts. Don’t miss out on this fantastic community event supporting a great cause!
