Planning is currently underway for the remaining 18 locations, which are expected to be completed by June 2023.

The Road Surface Renewal Program involves stripping back and replacing the top layer of the road to stop water getting through and to make it smoother, safer and more enjoyable for everyday use.

Wyndham City Mayor and Community Safety portfolio holder, Councillor Susan McIntyre, said the Program was essential for keeping the municipality’s roads in optimal condition.

Cr McIntyre also noted that Wyndham City is also investing $8.9 million to completely rebuild 12 Wyndham streets over 2022/23, including the $5 million rehabilitation of Sayers Road between Tarneit Road and Reflections Boulevard.
