Use Your Tip Tokens Now to Avoid the Rush: Wyndham City Urges Residents to Get in Early for Refuse Disposal Facility
On August 12, 2024, Wyndham City is urging residents to take advantage of their tip tokens before they expire on September 30th. The tokens, which are included in rates notices, can be used to pay for one car, ute, or trailer load of waste at the Wyndham Refuse Disposal Facility located at 470 Wests Road in Werribee.
According to Wyndham City, residents should act fast to avoid long lines at the facility and utilizing your tip token is a great way to declutter your property and give your house a big Spring clean.
Residents already using their tip token can exchange one of their three hard and green waste collection entitlements for a new token. Additionally, residents can exchange their tokens for an extra hard and green waste collection. Those who have misplaced their token or are unsure if they’ve already used it can contact the Council at 1300 023 411 for assistance.
The facility accepts up to two mattresses and four passenger vehicle-sized tyres per load. Any additional items such as mattresses, tyres, and gas bottles will incur extra charges. Don’t wait until the last minute, take advantage of your tip token now to avoid the late September rush.
