Wyndham Park Car Parking Upgrade

Wyndham Park Parking

Wyndham City has announced plans for the upgrade of the car park at Wyndham Park in Werribee, with a scheduled completion date of mid to late 2024. The project, located at 59-61 Cottrell Street, will see the creation of 80 parking spaces, 30 more than the current gravel car park. This development aims to improve amenities and infrastructure, as well as accessibility and convenience for the community.

The upgraded car park will also include four accessible car spaces, new lighting, footpaths, and landscaping to enhance safety and aesthetics. The transformation of the temporary gravel car park into a formal, well-landscaped facility highlights Wyndham City’s commitment to providing user-friendly parking solutions.

According to Wyndham City Mayor, Councillor Jennie Barrera, this project will not only enhance the community’s experience but also contribute to the ongoing development of the City Centre. “As Wyndham City continues to grow, so does the demand for improved parking and access,” said Cr Barrera. “This initiative will cater to the evolving needs of residents and visitors alike.”

Aligned with the Werribee City Centre Parking Strategy, this project signifies a concentrated effort to enhance parking infrastructure in the area. The car park will continue to offer free parking and maintain a three-hour time limit to ensure equitable access for all.
