Wyndham is again in focus for breaching the Chief Health Officers Directions.
Within the 170 fines issued in Victoria over the last 24 hours, 18 of those were for failing to wear a face covering when leaving home for one of the four approved reasons.
Many of these fines were issued to people who had no reason to not be wearing a mask, and refused to accept a mask offered by police or PSOs.
26 of the fines issued were at vehicle checkpoints but the following examples were noted including a Wyndham resident hosting a party with 10 guests.
Five people gathered in a licenced premises in the CBD for a birthday celebration.
There was also a religious gathering of up to 5 people at a factory in Dandenong.
