Wyndham roads get a refresh—see what’s next!
Resurfacing operations on four roads in Wyndham have been recently completed. The sections of Tarneit Road between Hogans Road and Abbotswood Drive in Hoppers Crossing have been resurfaced, alongside work on Hogans Road between Gateway Lane and Deloraine Drive, also in Hoppers Crossing.
Improvements were also made to the Wootten and Hogans roads intersection in Tarneit and Boardwalk Boulevard in Point Cook between Rowland and Neptune drives.
In the coming weeks, work is set to begin on an additional 11 road resurfacing projects across Hoppers Crossing, Laverton North, Manor Lakes, and Tarneit. Planning is also in progress for another four road resurfacing projects in Werribee.
The yearly resurfacing program aims to improve local roads by replacing the top layer of asphalt. This process enhances the durability of the roads and increases safety for all who use them.
“By investing in road resurfacing now, we are committed to creating safer, longer-lasting roads for residents and visitors alike,” said Mia Shaw, the mayor of the city.
