A new $25 million 5,000 seat elite training facility will be jointly funded and developed by Wyndham City and the Western Melbourne Group, to sit adjacent to the new Wyndham City Stadium at 1160 Sayers Road in Tarneit.
The new facility will be for both community use and Western United FC, with a main grass pitch with 5,000 seats, as well as an additional second grass pitch and a synthetic pitch.
A big win for Wyndham and the west more broadly. Construction is on track commence early next year, due for completion in early 2023.
