The Wyndham Warriors BMX is proud to host Round 3 of the 2023 AusCycling BMX State Series this Sunday, April 30th.
This marks their biggest event since 2019 and one of the biggest on the BMX calendar. The competition will be held at the newly upgraded Heathdale Glen Orden Wetlands BMX facility in Werribee and will feature 460 of the best BMX racers in the state.
According to Club President Gary Morgan, the event marks a significant milestone in their recovery from the suffering of COVID–19. The facility has been completely renovated, with a new building, landscaping, shaded areas, spectator seating and a resurfaced track.
The racing is set to kick off at 11am and will run until 4pm. Food and coffee vans will be onsite and pro shops will be available for those looking for BMX–related goodies.

The event promises to be one of the biggest and most exciting BMX events of the year, and Morgan hopes it will bring them one step closer to their long–term goal of hosting the state championship in 2024, which would draw a whopping 1,000 riders over three days.
