Different Perspectives And Experiences Displayed

An exhibition featuring the work of 35 artists with intellectual disability and/or disabling neurodivergence is currently on display at Saltwater Community Centre in Point Cook.

HERE+SEEN features 53 artworks exploring the perspectives, experiences and creative interests of participating artists.

The exhibition opened on 2 October and runs until 2 December 2026, providing an opportunity for the public to view works by artists at different stages of their creative careers.

Presented by Arts Assist and Wyndham City Council through the Level Up program, HERE+SEEN forms part of the 2026 Melbourne Fringe Festival.

The Level Up program supports artists with disability by providing exhibition opportunities, professional connections and pathways for further involvement in the arts sector.

It also aims to help participants develop their artistic practice and gain experience presenting their work to public audiences.

The exhibition includes a range of artistic styles and approaches, reflecting the individual interests and experiences of the 35 contributors.

Visitors can view the artworks at Saltwater Community Centre, located at 153 Saltwater Promenade, Point Cook.

The exhibition is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with free public viewing available until 2 December.
